Collin Powell warned Japan to build its own nuclear deterrent before it was to late
Out going Secretary of State Collen Powell warned the government and people of Japan not to trust the Bush Administration to protect them.
Time for Japan to re-read the Powell military doctine and create a MAD nulcaer counter force, rather than buying useless American antimissiles.
Breaking with the very Bush policies he pushed as secretary of state, Powell as he left office as Secretary of State openly suggested while in Japan, that Japan and South Korea construct their own nuclear and ICBM program and defense systems indepedentent of the United States. Collin Powell saw then, how the Bush administration was abandoning its responsibility to defense the people of Taiwan. He know the communist government of China has created a 400 missile kill zone targeting and an army of 100,000 troops ready to take back the island country of Taiwan.
Without a nuclear counter force, Taiwa in time will become indefensible able. That time is now. American troops will not deployed inside this growing kill zone.
