German soccer team use Ghana long-ball attack to win

The German coach in a very controversial move placed his faith in the Ghanaian long-ball attack to position German to advance to the semi-finals. Rather than be drawned into a positional passing game against a supiorArgentina, the German pushed a all out phyical attack while time was running out, waiting and hoping for a phyical collaspe of Argentina. When the phyical collaspe of the Aregentine players started, the coach immedicately reconfirgured the German team for more speed to create Ghanaian mismactches in the attack zone.

The failure of Argentina to take the air out of the German attack and hold on to the lead, will go down as one of the greatest collaspes in modern soccer history.

The German world cup team used an application of the Ghanaian long-ball attack to wear down and overwhemn then defeat the Argentina team. The long-ball attack allowed Germany to make up for the much phically smaller but surpoir passing of the Argentina team. Ghanaian Long-ball attack also force the replacement of key Argentina attack players and the weakness of the Argentina defene to get into trainstition. After 80 minutes of German long-ball pressure the Argentines lost control of the game and phyically collasped losing the led and control of the ball, setting up the shoot out. The German team replace slower players with speed and agressivison on both sides and took control of the game in the last 25 minutes of the game.

The long-ball allowed a less-than supior passing German team to get to the shoot out started. This application of the Ghanaian long-ball attack should not be lost to the American soccer community.
