White centric NCAA and corporate subsidies killing inner city soccer development
The international embarrassment of the United States men soccer will continue as long as its development is entrusted to the NCAA and white racism.
The solution to the American soccer crisis is aggressive development of inner city public education and feeder soccer programs and to give the NCAA corporate subsidies to the inner city soccer programs.
The highly subsidized white centric NCAA feeder system is missing the critical development of million of inner city youth. This failure to develop United States critical talent is costing America it place in world soccer and thousands of inner city children a place in college.
The level of World Cup necessitates that the United States, put side its white centric racism toward inner city Black and Latino youth and develop its most powerful talent in order to take its rightful place in World soccer.
Look at the Yankees and Mets basketball teams and you see the future of American soccer. Its color is no longer middle class white, but working class and brown.
Trinidad and other micro soccer powers have clearly demonstrated that if the United States expects to run with the Big Dogs of soccer, America must draw from the larger inner city talent pool and not the smaller white NCAA talent pool. America best soccer players are not in the NCAA. The soccer world is telling the United States FIFA, if you leave your inner city soccer players home, you should stay home or risk being embarrassed every time they go to war against a serious world-class soccer team.
Micro-countries like Trinidad and the Czech Republic with less populations less than New York City, have a larger and more developed talent pool than the NCAA, embarrassed America on a regular basis, because of America lack of developed talent. The NCAA has refused to develop post-high school developmental leagues to grow inner city talent after high school.
Deciphering the code of soccer excellence is simple. Great soccer countries draw on their national talent pool, which is mainly working class and some times poor segments. United States is the only country in the World Cup that has asked it white middle class soccer players play against the dream teams of the world.
