American Generals must stop being good Germen and trust the American people with the truth

Reasons for Rumsfeld long over due termination

The unnecessary lost of thousands of lives in New Orleans and Iraq

Obey the chain of command like good German generals rather than protect the American people

By Isiah Scott

The Iraq war is a going tragedy that creates death and injuries daily. The immediacy of the TV manipulated emotionalism of Iraq and the over 350 billion dollars expense hides more serious and long-term mistakes being made by Rumsfeld. The most importantly the downsizing of the US military to shadow of itself totally subsumed under the oil centric US Space Command has increasing risk to national security.

Thank God there is no real Soviet threat.

Framing the debate about Rumsfeld job performance on Iraq and not the larger issues hide the depths of his failure. No American general to date had dared to public speak about why a federal rescue forces deployed a month before Katrina stood by and did nothing while American died daily for a week in New Orleans.

The same generals doing Iraq also did New Orleans. Its time for Americans to connect the dots between the two military events.

Ten of thousands of Americans are still missing in New Orleans, and the national debate is about Iraq.

From an oil centric viewpoint, like New Orleans, Rumsfeld has taken control of Iraq oil assets very effectively. His failure, like New Orleans, has been in rebuilding the industrial economy and political structure. Neither of which the oil lobby really cares about. How many manufacturing jobs are being created in Iraq is not in oil centric matrix of thinking about economic recovery. The general attack on the security crisis in Iraq, mask the more important failure of the US military to restart the Iraqi economy. But the failures in Iraq are the tip of a much deeper iceberg.

There have been many failures during the Rumsfeld watch that rises to the level immedicated termination of his job of Secretary of Defense. Some of the major failures that come to mind other than failing to order federal troops to rescue thousands of stranded and dying Americans in New Orleans are:

The failure to build a 300 billion functional anti-missile national defense shield to protect the westren sections of the Untied States against a growing Chinese ICBM missile attack is number one or two on the list for termination after New Orleans. Nothing is being said about the totally unprotected eastern section of the United States.

Rumsfeld has destroyed the critical mass of human capital within in the military developed over 350 years. Rumsfeld has also destroyed the first employer function of the military at a time inner city unemployment is 90 percent. In addition, he has limited the military 500 billion-dollar roles in nurturing the development of digital manufacturing platforms in the inner city. The very American firms that are transferring critical computer integrated manufacturing to China, are the largest US military contractors.

With an 80 billion-dollar intelligence military network, failure to process real time intelligence that was in hand that led to 9/11attack should have been enough to fire Rumsfeld.

US military active support of the going Chinese forced death march of 4 million Black African in Sudan is evil.

Buying advanced wespone systems from the same multinationals arm suppliers who are activity aiding the emergence of Chinese military.

And finally for the creation wasteful and useless US Space Command as the core of the oil centric US military command.

Cheap open market computer logic is replacing the sound judgment of US military field commands. Domes are replacing the micro management skills of uncommissioned offices. Cruise missiles are replacing the military role in aiding economic recovery in target countries. Most US military conflicts transform countries into Bonsai, Haiti or Mogadishu.

The net result is increasing numbers of micro Mogadishu, Somalia. The target populations grow to hate America military projection of power. Third-rate military countries like Chinese are projecting power with three-generation-old Soviet era weapon systems, while the US military strands helplessly by.

The nightmare that has become Iraq is reflective of the culture within the Oval Office of oil centric thinking process that fails to address the basic historical reality of operating a modern industrial economy is the end game of winning the war. The Marshall Plan and winning over the trust of western Europe and Japan was the key to post WWII development, not the nuclear biomes and ICBM missiles.

Iraq is the second war fought under US Space Command and oil centric planning. The coming conflict was Iran is being formulated by the same grouping. Iran is being armed by China with nuclear weapon systems, and all the US can do is threaten WWIII. The other layers of solution have been removed in the downsizing of the US military.

The historic number of retired generals who have gone public with their called for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld resignation pose a significant question about they silence about the oil centric politicalization of the chain of command that fail to function is the rescuer of the hundred of thousands of stranded Americans in New Orleans.

For almost a full week, the best trained and equipped military rescues force in human history, was locked and loaded off the coast of New Orleans and was not allowed to deploy following Katrina coming ashore. The Americans and the world watch as Vice President Dick Cheney and New Rumsfeld reduce the region of New Orleans to the level of Rwanda in central Africa. Americans were left stranded by the US military on rooftops, begging for their lives in alligator infested waters.

As the nation and world helplessly watch, the same generals crying about Rumsfeld micro-managing Iraq, allowed the Oval Office to break the military chain of command between the National Guard and US military, in order to forced an oil lobby agenda on the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. These same generals to do the unthinkable, to leave active duty National Guard forces, US allowed military veterans the Oval Office military veterans, babies, children and old people be behind. Mogadishu was created in New Orleans, but the US military relief forces stood by and watched for a week.

If the generals criticism about Iraq and Rumsfeld’s micro management is to be taken serious by the America people, their attacks on Mr. Rumsfeld must be expanded to include the criminal enterprise in New Orleans in which American military forces were forced to activity participated, because no general would take a stand and give the order to rescues the people of New Orleans. The Generals remain collect silent in public about the collapse of the chain of command in New Orleans.

There has been no vigorous debate by the general about the moral right of field commander to disobey orders that directs them to abandon the welfare and well being of a city of American under attack from a kill hurrcanie. Nor has there be any debate about the military inability to stop, contain or defeat the Oval Office insurgency in Washington, that politicalized under the ruse of federalization, to stop the military integration of the North Command under the state of Louisiana National Guard that was fighting Katrina.

Nothing had been said collective by the generals about Rumsfeld contemptuous of the view of senior state military officer about the fascistic nature of the US Space Command and how it has cannibalized mission critical assets that contributed to the lack of respond to Katrina.

The Generals appear to be very conflicted about connecting the dots between the defense secretary’s micro managing of New Orleans and Iraq. The Middle East is just the tip of the iceberg American watch every day.

Criticism of the war in Iraq is safe. The critical analysis of the failure of US military forces in New Orleans is not yet in political fashion. New Orleans reveals the naked political process of how the Oval Office has reduced the US military and its chain of command to little more than over paid corporate storm troopers. New Orleans is a case study of danger of Rumsfeld politically motivated micro management of purely military matters.

As more Generals weigh into the debate about the Defense Secretary’s dismissal, the issue of federalization and integration with National Guard force must be addressed in open public debate.

The Generals must, do what the Oval Office fear; trust the people will support them.
