Fox News joints CNN news in showing Americans Israeli carpet bombing in action using M26 American rockets

Fox news carried live pictures and reporters commentary all day Saturday about the new Israeli carpet bombing of Hezbollah positions in southren Lebanon. American TV veiwer were showned deadly US made M26 rackets being fired from Israeli Multipel Launch Rocket System(MLRS)from inside Israeli into Lebanon. Fox News reporters stated that according to Israeli military personel they interviewed,the cluster munition missiles firings where designed to "carpet bomb" Hezhollah areas in southern Lebanon that the Israeli Air Force has failed to destroy in the last month of bombing.

The Fox News made no referance to the New York Times article about the concerns raised by the US State Departemt about the civilian casualties M26 missile create. Nor did the Fox News inform its viewers that one launchers's full load carries more than 7,700 DPCIM bomblets(submunitions). The impact area of all those submunitions was a square kilometer. The M26 rocket is so lethal that Iraqi soldiers name it "steel rain".

Fox news showed M26 rockets being launched by a Israeli Army unit, one after the other, disappearing in the night toward targets in southren Lebanon.

Fox news say nothing about the Human Rights Watch reports of massive destruction and lost of human life caused Israel fired artillery-fired cluster munitions in populated areas of Lebanon. Nothing was said about M26 rockets planned use against the 600 trapped Hezhollah positions in southren Lebanon now surrounded by Israeli forces.

Fox News said nothing about the political impact of using such a deadly weapon in the final days of a war on the over all peace process or Hezhollah's military reaction.
