Libby's Lawyers request types of Presidential briefs, refused Congress on Katrina

If a Oval insider can use the Presidential Daily Brief:
Why not the people of New Orleans

By Isiah Scott

In order to try and clear the political air and reassure the American people of no wrong doing, the President allowed the 9/11 Commission to review the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB)the day of the attacks in New York City and Washington, DC. Given the many unanswered political questions about New Orleans, its time the Oval Office allow the nation to review PDB for 9/28 New Orleans. The national importance of see the PDB dwarfed any security concerns.

According to the New York Times, Mr. Libby’s lawyers said in a court filling on Tuesday that they needed the material to show that the presidential briefs “dwarfed in importance” the matter related to the exposure of the of a covert C.I.A. officer, Valerie Wilson.

The lawyers for the former chief of staff Lewis “Scooter” Libby, is showing the country where to find the critical information about New Orleans missed by the congressional committee and national press coverage. According to a legal affidavit unsealed Tuesday, March 7, 2006 the lawyers requested the CIA the highly classified Presidential Daily Brief document form May 2003 to March 2004. This document provides the president with crucial and timely intelligence.

The Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) for the period August 15, 2005 to September 5 would reveal the real chain of command controlling the events in New Orleans. Embedded in the documents is a sister daily US military brief on the deployment and status of all US military levels and threats matrix’s. The details of the illegal deployment of North Command and US Space Command grounds to New Orleans are reported in the brief.

The time and implications of the break in the 17th Street levee are in the later update of August 29 and August 30. The critical role of US Space Command satellites is in the briefs.

The PDB and US military briefs would also make the critical link between Vice President Chaney and the on going federalization struggle between Bush and Governor. Kathleen Blanco before during and after Katrina hit and inundated New Orleans.

Despite President Bush’s accepting responsibility for the federal government shortfalls, the White House has refused all request by the Tom Davis special committee and other Congressional investigators to review the Oval Office and US military communication between the Presidents, Vice President, Sectaries of Defenses, Homeland Security, Human Service, NS, NSC, FBI, CIA and the Governor of Louisiana.

The critical communication between US Space Command, Admiral Keating, commander of the North Command and federal forces and the Oval Office are missing from public records. Vice President Cheney’s indicted chief of staff Lewis “Scooter” Libby who is fighting for his life and would be willing to tell Congress where to find the entire range of critical document that been stonewalls and kept from Congressional review by the Oval Office.

The National Clandestine Service, given the fact the events of Katrina are now six month old, should be able to prepare these documents on New Orleans in a day for public viewing.

The Republicans rebels in the House fighting to block the deal on the seaport, should join to the Democrats and fight for a public viewing of the 8/28 period Presidential Daily Briefs now.
